Apply to School
After we get all your documents that we need (Completed Questionnaire, Photo, Resume, all copies of Certificates, References and copy of Passport), we apply for jobs for you. The school will not talk with us until they see all the documents. As these documents are necessary when the school apply for the working visa for you, it is very important for you to get all documents to us as required.
Normally, we will apply for the positions for you according to your completed Questionnaire. For the first time some teachers would like to go to Beijing or Shanghai which are the only two cities they know in China. But we have to say it is really not a good choice for the teachers who come to China at the first time. The schools in Beijing and Shanghai recruit higher qualified teachers with Bachelor degree and teaching experience. By the way the living cost is very high too. Now in Beijing, Shanghai and most cities in South China, teacher’s without Bachelor degree can’t get a working visa according to the local policy. So we would like to suggest that you can accept other cities in the middle and west of China if you don’t have degree and teaching experience. These cities are developing quickly too.
Next you need to consider which kind of school you want to work in. In public schools the salary would be lower, but the lessons you need to finish will be less too, and you can have summer vacation or winter vacation. In private schools the situation is opposite. The salary is higher, the working time is longer, and you don’t have summer vacation and winter vacation.
